How It Works Slider

The How It Works Slider section creates a flexible, step-by-step layout that displays your process or features in a clean column format on desktop, making it perfect for explaining how your product works, showcasing your service steps, or breaking down any multi-step process in an easy-to-follow format. You can set up anywhere from 2 to 6 columns on desktop (perfect for displaying multiple steps side-by-side), 1 to 3 on tablet, and 1 to 3 on mobile, giving you complete control over how your content is organized at each breakpoint, and you can optionally enable a swipeable slider on mobile and tablet for an even smoother browsing experience that lets visitors scroll through each step. Each column can contain any combination of blocks—icons, headings, descriptions, buttons, images, or any other content you want to add—so you can create rich, informative step cards that explain your process clearly, and you have full control over spacing, alignment, gap sizes, and styling to make everything look exactly how you want. The section is fully customizable through the Shopify Theme Customizer—adjust background colors or add background images with optional overlays, control padding and spacing, set page width options, and fine-tune every detail without touching a line of code, making it easy to create professional-looking "how it works" sections that work beautifully on any Shopify 2.0 theme like Dawn or Horizon, whether you're explaining your product process, showcasing service steps, or breaking down any workflow that needs a step-by-step visual guide.

Setup Instructions

Install the App

Visit the Shopify App Store and install Flexi Slider Sections. Start your free trial to access all features and sections.

Install Section

Open the Flexi app and navigate to the sections library. Search for "How It Works Slider" and click "Add to Theme" to install it instantly.

Add to Your Store

Go to your Shopify admin → Online Store → Themes → Customize. Click "Add section" and select "How It Works Slider" from the available sections.

Set Section Width

In the section settings, choose your preferred layout:

• Full width: Spans the entire page width

• Fixed width: Set a custom maximum width (320px - 1440px)

• Theme width: Use your theme's default container width

Add Content

Click "Add block" to add product groups. Each group can contain multiple products with customizable layouts including titles, prices, images, and buttons.
